Prayers For Boston

Today was the Boston Marathon. Around 3 o'clock two bombs went off at the finish line. About an hour and a half later another bomb went off in the JFK Library. From what I've heard right now 2 people have died and 57 were injured. I've been seeing pictures from the incident and they absolutely horrify me. Every time I see the blood or the people on the ground or the people running my body just shakes. The fact that people would do this is insane.

To me I think this is a act of war. Apparently, people have thought that America deserves this. This is horrible. I don't even know how to express my feelings right now.

My thoughts and prayers go out to those in the race and their families right now.

Life for me is normal. Freshman in high school. Varsity cheerleader. I get pretty good grades. It's just that one day I want something big to happen to me. I want to go on a big adventure. I want to make the world a better place, and trust me, I know how cheesy that sounds.

I really want to just get away from this hell-hole that I'm in now. And, no, I'm not talking about high school. I'm talking about the town that I live in. I'm not going to say the name of the town but it's a small little crappy town in Massachusetts. Your probably thinking that it can't be that bad but it really is, I'm afraid to go out at night unless I'm with someone.

My early life was alright, except for the fact that I had a crappy family. By family I don't mean my mom and dad and my brother, I mean my aunt, uncles, and cousins. My mom and dad's side of the family both hate us. But, whatever, thats not important.

When I first got into high school I was wanted to go into NJROTC. It's a program where they get you ready to go into the army. You don't have to go into the army but if you do it's better to have been in NJROTC. I was really tempted to go into it and I figured that it would be a good thing. To go into the army. At least then my life would really have a purpose.

My thing is that I feel like I have no purpose in life. Like I was just put here to be put here. All I am is a fangirl. Nobody even really cares about me. I mean I have great friends. There's only two that I really would consider my best friends, though. Halie and Teresa.

I met Halie in 7th grade when our math teacher made us sit next to each other. It was stupid of her really because she put two people with the same sounding name next to each other. Plus, both of our last names started with a C. That didn't help her either.

Teresa and I became friends last year in 8th grade when we had all of our classes together. We had a few fights and were mad at each other for a whole but we got over it. Now we're closer than ever.

That's really all for today, tomorrow I'll tell you about my other "friends". And yeah, quotation marks belong there...
